The road is
half the story.

Your own car, your own driver-guide, your own pace. From the high passes of the Atlas to the dunes of Merzouga — stop wherever the view asks you to.

00Our most-driven road

Marrakech to Chefchaouen, the long way round — 1,230 km of Morocco.

01Why the open road

We don't sell seats on a bus. We give you Morocco at the pace of a private car — a driver who grew up on these roads, a route drawn around you, and the freedom to stop for every view, every tagine, every story.

01

Private, never shared

Your own vehicle and driver-guide, from the hotel or airport pickup to the last goodbye.

02

Your route, your rhythm

Change plans on the road — linger in a kasbah, skip a city, add a night in the dunes.

Roads we know by heart.

03The network

One country,
four great roads.

Every trip we drive is built from these four lines. Mix them, cut them short, add a detour — your driver knows every station by name.

07Your driver-guide

Not a chauffeur.
A friend for the road.

Our drivers were born in the Atlas, the oases and the medinas you'll cross. They know the café with the best msemen, the kasbah with no crowds, and exactly when the light hits the gorge.

Ask on WhatsApp
How do I book a tour with Morocco Open Road?

Choose your tour, fill in the short booking form and press Book via WhatsApp: WhatsApp opens with all your details already written, you press send, and we reply personally to confirm availability, your driver and the final price. Nothing is paid online. Prefer to talk first? Message us on WhatsApp.

Are your tours private or shared?

All our tours are private: your own vehicle and your own driver-guide, only for you and your travel companions. You choose the departure time, the pace and the stops — there are no strangers and no fixed group schedule.

Do you pick up from hotels, riads and airports?

Yes. Pickup is included from hotels and riads in Marrakech, Fès and Casablanca. For riads deep in the medina, we meet you at the nearest gate a car can reach. Multi-day tours can start directly at Marrakech, Fès or Casablanca airport.

What is included in your desert tours?

Our desert tours include the private vehicle and driver-guide, fuel and tolls, accommodation in riads or kasbahs, a night in a desert camp, the sunset camel trek, breakfasts and dinners. Lunches, drinks, monument entrance fees, optional local guides and tips are not included.

When is the best time to visit the Sahara desert?

The best months for the Sahara are October to April, with warm days and cool nights. Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) are ideal. In summer, days can pass 40°C, so we leave early and rest at midday; in December and January, nights in the desert are cold — bring a warm layer.

Can I change an itinerary or build my own trip?

Of course. Every tour can be shortened, extended or combined, and many of our travellers design their own route. Tell us your dates and wishes on our Plan my trip page and we send you a free, tailor-made itinerary on WhatsApp.
